Business Class Immigration to Canada
Every year thousands of people immigrate to Canada and can apply for permanent residence as investors, entrepreneurs, or self-employed workers. To qualify as an investor, the applicant must have a net worth of at least $800,000 and is required to make an investment of $400,000, which is placed in a government fund. The investment will be returned after a period of 5 years and is fully guaranteed by the Canadian government.
In order to qualify as an entrepreneur, the applicant must have experience starting and running their own business. In addition, a net worth of at least $300,000 and the intention to start a business in Canada is also required. To qualify for the self employed category, the applicant must be able to create self-employment that benefits Canada’s culture. Although there is no minimum net worth requirement, the applicant must have sufficient funds to create and sustain self-employment.
