Chalets in France
A chalet is a type of building made of wood, generally found in the mountainous region of the Alps. Chalets can also serve as great places for a winter holiday. In mountain resorts, they are used to accommodate small families and even larger corporate groups. Staying in a chalet can be quite a pleasurable experience- a nice, quaint place to stay in while enjoying the mountain scenery and air. A home away from a home, you could say. I have stayed in Val d’Isere chalets and La Plagne chalets, having visited the French Alps a few years back. This year, I’ll be going to Courchevel. Courchevel and Les Trois Vallees have many varied runs, the highest of which is some 3000m +. That should be fun, especially considering that I have never visited the place before.I went through a few Courchevel chalets and settled on one a after some thought. Its features look good, and I am waiting for winter to arrive.
