Incensi and Candele - Himalayan Fragrance

I recently took a trip to Italy to visit my friend, Thomas who works an Yoga instructor in Rome. This was the first time in Italy so I’m naturally excited about exploring the city. I went around the neighbourhood around Thomas’s studio and visited some bread stores. I soon came across a very interesting shop that specialized in Himalayan fragrances. I’m a big incense junkie so I went in and browsed around the store. The store owner was a lady and she was very helpful indeed. She explained most of the origins behind the products in the incense store and even directed me to her online Himalayan fragrance website which offers even more detailed background information on the products. I even learnt that the word for fragrance in Italian was incensi, which sounded pretty cool to me. I looked in a corner of a store and noticed that there were some mushroom shaped candles on the floor. The shopkeeper told me that they were candele , or what is known in english as scented candles. Terribly interesting. I bought a few to bring back to the folks back home. I hope they’ll like it!
