I’ve never been a fan of AIM because I’ve always used MSN Messenger and Yahoo Messenger since the earliest days. AIM had a pretty cute buddy icon but I wasn’t swayed into using them because I was too familiar with how AIM works. One day, my younger brother turned on his computer and showed me some really slick AIM smileys he got recently. Now I consider myself to be a smiley expert and even I was really attracted to how the AIM smileys looked. There are graduations of color that make them seem more glossy than the usual stuff from other messengers. I went on the net myself after getting my brother to show me where I could get the free AIM smileys. After playing around for a while, I got even more greedy and searched around the internet for more places where I could download AIM smileys. I found a few and installed them immediately.. now my AIM messenger looks so pretty and attractive that I think I’ll start using it from now on, instead of other instant messaging platforms
